In an era marked by rapid technological advancement, evolving economic landscapes, and shifting societal expectations, the commercial real estate (CRE) and facilities management sectors are undergoing a transformative shift. The RICS India CRE Conference 2025 served as a dynamic platform for industry leaders to explore how innovation and adaptability are shaping future-ready spaces.The opening session featured Ram Chandnani, Managing Director - Leasing Services, CBRE India, moderating a session on underlying trends in India’s commercial real estate market, highlighting its robust growth driven by rapid urbanisation, infrastructure development, and rising global investor interest. The group discussed the sector's diversified growth across key segments like offices, logistics, organised retail, and emerging ones such as data centres, noting that the sector is projected to grow fivefold by 2033, supported by policy measures, increasing transparency and structured options like REITs.
The conference also marked the launch of our report “From Built to Resilient: Navigating Innovation in the Office Sector”, outlining strategies for asset upgradation, ESG integration, and transit-led development as workplaces transform into strategic hubs for talent and growth.
