CBRE CARES, INDIA - EK PEHAL
The CBRE group runs a global corporate responsibility program under the banner of CBRE Cares, that supports the group’s philanthropic initiatives. CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd., through the India edition of CBRE Cares – “Ek Pehal” has pledged to improve lives of those with the greatest needs. CBRE has embarked on several initiatives of scale in Education, Health & Nutrition, Women Empowerment and Livelihood, for Migrant labour, slum/labour camps development, creating inclusive environment for orphans and migrant labours with disabilities and need based infrastructure development, thus promoting that the initiatives are outcome oriented, socially acceptable, and environmentally friendly.At CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd. we believe that every life has an equal right to a good quality of living. Today, millions of migrant workers and their families are building our modern spaces but are themselves surrounded by poverty, illness, and despair; and are fighting a daily battle for their survival.
Our mission is to extend our support and help migrant labours to lift themselves out of this cycle of despair.
Our Vision:
- To improve the availability and access of basic necessities and quality services (health, nutrition, education, sanitation, livelihood etc) for migrant labourers and their families.
- Long Term Vision: Create sustainable communities- where the needs of everyone in the community is met and people feel safe, healthy and happy.
FOCUS AREAS OF ENGAGEMENT:
Through the programs, CBRE intends its Social Priority Investments (SPI) in various thematic areas and is in line with the United Nation’s (UN) Global Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).
- Awareness on Primary healthcare facilities/ telemedicine centres
- Improving facilities at Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs)
- Conducting need-based health camps and providing consultation, medicines etc.
- Initiatives on maternal and child health (MCH) care including Behavioral change for improved maternal and child health, and menstrual hygiene
- Improving institutional delivery through innovative outreach programs
- Using technology for training, competency evaluation and clinical decision support for medical professionals with a view to improve quality of healthcare
- Promoting quality primary and secondary education including ECCE
- Promoting digital literacy
- Enabling higher education through scholarships, including for differently abled across the country.
- Employment linked skill development initiatives
- To Improve Livelihoods and Income of women and adolescent girls (Financial Empowerment) from the group identified.
- To Improve quality of lives of women and girls (Social Change and Social Empowerment) by creating interventions to improve on gender sensitization
- Creating social infrastructure (green energy, multi-activity center)
- Improve primary healthcare services, sanitation, and safe drinking facilities
- Promoting quality education for children
Request for Proposal
CBRE India, through this RFP, wishes to invite proposals from NGOs with a proven track record in the thematic area of Health & Nutrition and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) to undertake the various initiatives under the ambit of ‘Ek Pehal’ as an implementing agency. Bidders are requested to submit their proposals on the basis of detailed instructions given in the document to set up and implement outcome-oriented, and impactful projects in partnership with CBRE India using innovative and sustainable models.CBRE RFP WASH- 2023-24
