CBRE participated as the Knowledge Partner at the CII GCC Coimbatore Summit 2026, which brought together industry leaders, occupiers, policymakers, and ecosystem stakeholders to discuss the opportunities shaping the next phase of GCC growth in India. The summit focused on the emergence of new GCC destinations and the factors enabling cities beyond established hubs to attract global organizations seeking talent, scalability, and operational excellence.A key highlight of the event was the launch of CBRE's latest report, Coimbatore: Expanding Horizons for South India's GCC Footprint. The report examines Coimbatore's growing potential as a GCC destination, supported by its deep engineering talent pool, strong manufacturing base, expanding technology ecosystem, competitive operating environment, and ongoing infrastructure development.
As part of the summit, Asan Dasari, Head - GCC Advisory, Leasing Services, CBRE India, led a session titled "The Next GCC Frontier", which explored the evolving location strategies of organizations and the increasing interest in emerging cities as enterprises look to diversify operations and access new talent markets. The discussion highlighted Coimbatore's strengths as a business destination and its ability to support a broad range of GCC functions.
The conversations also examined the role of talent availability, physical and digital infrastructure, educational institutions, and ecosystem readiness in shaping the attractiveness of emerging GCC markets. Participants discussed how collaborative efforts across industry, academia, and government can help create a supportive environment for sustained GCC growth.
