Featured Client Outcomes
CBRE Chennai
14,000 SF Office, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
The office develops a unique character of its own, drawing heavily on CBRE’s work style and celebrating the region's local art, culture and heritage, all blended beautifully.
CBRE wanted to expand and move to a more agile working format in a post-COVID world. Right from the brief development stage, a lot of emphasis was placed on the possible ways to make the office ready for the future, make it more flexible and collaborative and a piece of art for prospective clients. The stakeholders eventually went for an almost 50% agile layout, with multiple discussion sessions with the steering committee led by the Design Collective, making the change process much more gradual and smoother.

CBRE, as a real estate service provider, in essence, takes the basic raw materials in the construction industry like Stone, Lumber, Tor Steel and Rough Concrete and turns these into functional aesthetic and productive spaces and creates value for the project, which is more than the sum of its parts put together. The project celebrates that transformation along with Chennai’s incredibly rich cultural legacy. It is reflected in the art and architecture still in use and upkeep today. These inspire the mood and feel of the place, which is represented in the surfaces and design elements of the office spaces.
