2022 India Office Occupier Survey

The relaxation in restrictions after the short-lived Omicron wave in early 2022 along with significantly improved vaccination rates have uplifted occupiers’ sentiments as several of them have reopened offices. In light of this, CBRE conducted another round of office occupier interactions from February - March 2022 as an extension to the India Future of Office Survey 2021 conducted from October - December 2021.

Through the survey, we discovered that most companies in India are now displaying a clear shift towards embracing agile portfolios and real estate strategies, as flexible working becomes more prevalent. It led us to identify 10 key trends unfolding in the office market during this transformation period.
