CREDAI - Telangana Statecon 2024

CBRE partnered with CREDAI to host "Telangana Statecon 2024" on 20th August 2024 at the HICC, Novotel, Hyderabad. The event showcased the state's business ecosystem and emerging opportunities on the global stage.

The CREDAI Telangana Statecon featured the launch of our research report, "Telangana Going Global", by the Hon’ble Minister for Irrigation, Food & Civil Supplies, Uttam Kumar Reddy, and the Hon’ble Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, in the presence of the Hon’ble MLA Kumbam Anil Kumar Reddy, Gaurav Kumar, MD Capital Market and Land, CBRE India, Murali Krishna Reddy, Chairman and senior leadership of CREDAI Telangana. 

At the event, Telangana's global ambitions were advocated by Hon'ble Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, citing robust infrastructure and youth-centric policies as key drivers. Hon'ble Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy emphasised the transformative power of world-class infrastructure projects in establishing the state as a leading business hub.

Gaurav Kumar, MD, Capital Markets and Land, CBRE India, spoke at the event and highlighted Telangana's rapid growth, driven by the thriving IT sector, strategic infrastructure development, and forward-thinking government initiatives.

Gurjot Bhatia, MD & Head, Project Management Advisory, APAC, CBRE, led a thought-provoking panel discussion on the financial and environmental implications of green construction, examining the intersection of technology and sustainable building practices and addressing the challenges of green building investments.

Gipson Paul, Sr. Exec. Director, Leasing & City Head, Hyderabad, CBRE India, participated in a fireside chat to discuss the transformative impact of technology on construction and its future implications for building trends.

While Vinay Reddy, Asso. Exec. Director, Capital Markets, CBRE India, moderated a discussion highlighting Hyderabad's pivotal role in driving Telangana's growth and uncovering the vast investment potential of Tier-II cities in the state, revealing new opportunities for development and expansion at the event.
