The CII Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Summit 2025 held in Chennai on 20th February 2025, was a resounding success, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to collaborate and explore the latest developments, innovations, and emerging opportunities reshaping Chennai's real estate landscape.
Speaking during the event, Preetham Mehra MRICS, Senior Executive Director & Head - Government Practice, CBRE India, highlighted Tamil Nadu's core strengths in terms of economic resilience, industrial innovation, and infrastructure excellence. He also emphasized the state's importance as a key driver of India's GDP growth and its leadership in infrastructure development to support the national 2047 vision.
The inaugural session saw the launch of our latest report, "Tamil Nadu: The State of Unlimited Possibilities," by Shiv Das Meena, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA), in the presence of Preetham Mehra and other prominent dignitaries.
A key panel discussion on the day was moderated by Preetham Mehra exploring how urbanization, infrastructure, and evolving market demands are shaping Tamil Nadu's real estate landscape. The session covered key trends such as affordable housing, the commercial real estate boom, technology integration in construction, and sustainable building practices among others.
