CBRE – CII Realty 20th Edition
On 20th November 2024, in New Delhi, one of India's largest Real Estate events took place – CBRE – CII Realty 20th Edition. It brought together industry leaders, policymakers and experts to explore the future of India's real estate sector.
Opening the event, our Guest of Honour, Ms D Thara, Additional Secretary (A & CV), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, GOI, highlighted the importance of enhancing urban infrastructure and the role of the real estate sector in creating more sustainable, liveable communities with accessible healthcare, education, water and essential services.
Speaking during the inaugural session, Ram Chandnani, Managing Director, Leasing Services, CBRE India, highlighted the shift towards smart buildings, green infrastructure and technological advancements, positioning India's commercial real estate sector for growth.
The session also saw the launch of our report "Unravelling the Trends Shaping India's Real Estate Market in 2024," which provides a comprehensive analysis of transformative trends in India's core and alternative real estate sectors.
The panel discussion, "India's New Frontiers in Commercial Real Estate," moderated by Ram Chandnani, centred on sustainability, retail growth potential and promising growth projections for commercial real estate.
The final panel discussion, "Emerging Sectors in Real Estate," moderated by Alok Kumar Puri, explored the rapid growth of emerging sectors, including data centers, flexible workspaces and new-age logistics. Distinguished panellists discussed how these sectors are creating new opportunities for growth beyond traditional real estate impact areas.
