The F&B of today is fundamentally different than it was a decade ago, fueled by changing dynamics in demographic and consumer patterns. People are eating out more and dining out has become an increasingly accessible luxury. Restaurants are offering more choices, incorporating experiential elements into the dining experience as consumers step up on their expectations of what they eat. Serving great food just does not cut it anymore.
The dynamic landscape has very real implications for real estate, forging new expectations, challenges and opportunities for F&B stakeholders. The onus now lies on them to reinvent themselves to stay relevant in an age of disruption.
